We are a lay-led congregation.
We welcome you to the Unitarian Universalist (UU) Church of Las Cruces. We are a diverse and progressive spiritual community for all people. Our campus is accessible for people of all abilities. As a Welcoming Congregation, we’ve been a liberal religion presence in Las Cruces since 1955. Please join us for worship and fellowship.

These stories from our members speak to the acceptance, transformation, and happiness we find at this church.
We believe there are many paths
We believe there are many paths to wisdom and spiritual truth. Our members engage in many religious practices that may include aspects of Christianity, Humanism, Judaism, Islam, Buddhism, and Earth-Centered spirituality. We may classify ourselves as theists, deists, agnostics, atheists, or humanists, but we share a common need for community, spirituality, social justice, and support in our life’s journey.
We have no creed
We have no creed, but our members believe that learning and spiritual growth continue throughout life. The answer to life’s important questions: “Where did we come from, why are we here, and what happens when we die,” may never be fully answered, but the search for those answers is important.
Although we are a non-creedal religion, we believe deeply in the church’s seven principles and we promise, or covenant with each other and the community that we will do everything we can to live by our principles.
We strive for diversity
Our congregation works for diversity, social justice, acceptance and peace in our congregation. We work for the same things in our community and the world and we invite you to join with us in worship and loving community.
