Eleven beautiful glass pieces grace our church.

Our stained glass windows delight the congregation and our visitors.

The late Reverend John Trantham designed and created our nine stained glass Windows of Faith.

Our sanctuary centerpiece is a lovely stained glass flaming chalice that hangs within a New Mexico Zia.

Finally, there is the magnificent Tombaugh Window, located in the church’s Tombaugh Art Gallery. This commissioned piece honors the memory of one of our founding members, Clyde W. Tombaugh. The window is eight feet tall and eighteen feet wide and consists of five panels crafted by artist Arthur J. Tatkoski and dedicated in 2001. It is located on the east side of the church where it captures the morning light. The window’s unique theme explores the universe and Clyde Tombaugh’s life, incorporating elements like his childhood in Kansas, his passion for teaching, and his work with rockets, telescopes, NASA, and the White Sands Missile Range. The image depicts Tombaugh in his shop, wearing a work apron and grinding a lens for his own telescope.

See a delightful NOVA film about Clyde and his amazing telescopes and his dedication to learning and discovery.
