Trying to Answer the Big Questions

Worship with us as we seek answers to life’s big questions: Who are we, where are we going, why are we here.
Worship with us in a spiritual community that constantly reminds us of what matters most in life. We strive for Beloved Community and our congregations and communities call us to our better selves. We learn to live with more wisdom, more connection, and more compassion.
Our worship services incorporate music, poetry, and storytelling to foster reflection on significant questions. Instead of providing answers, we are encouraged to engage with these questions personally. Weekly services blend our thoughts and experiences with music, poetry, and words that both comfort and challenge.
Our religious sources and values inspire our worship. The people with whom we share our life journey inspire us; diverse and spirited Unitarian Universalists.
We Focus on Exploration, Not Dogma
We emphasize you individual beliefs and the freedom to explore religious and philosophical questions without rigid adherence to dogma.
Big Questions We Might Explore in Worship
- Identity and Purpose: “Who are we?” “Why are we here?” “What is our place in the world?”
- The Nature of Reality: “What is truth?” “What happens after we die?” “What is the relationship between the individual and the universe?”
- Ethics and Values: “How should we treat each other?” “What is the meaning of justice and compassion?” “How do we build a better world?”
- Spirituality and Belief: “What is God?” “Is there a higher power?” “What is the nature of the soul?”
- Interconnectedness: “How are we connected to each other and the world around us?”
- The Power of Choice: “What does it mean to have choice in life?” “How can we take responsibility for our choices?”
Our worship provides a space for you to reflect on your own beliefs and values.
