Apr 25 – Day of Silence (Honoring the LGBTQ Community)

We’ll celebrate The Day of Silence, which is a national, student-led demonstration. Folks who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) students and allies. This takes place all around the country as the LGBTQ community show us what justice looks. Many take a vow of silence to protest the harmful effects of harassment and discrimination of LGBTQ people in schools.
