“Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free.” That is who we are to millions around the world, the land of the free. Recently this country made a commitment to securing the border to the south rather than building bridges of friendship and understanding with our neighbors in this hemisphere. What are the consequences of this behavior? Do our deeds reflect our words?
