Speaker: Paul O’Connell. The U.S. spends more on health care (per citizen) than any other country—why? We will look at cost and incentive changes over the last 50 years; life style changes that effect health care–like diabetics, heart disease and back pain, many of which are preventable; monopolization of health care because of its inelastic demand and politicization of the industry.
