Doug Nichols, JD, will discuss what public policies to address climate change are most effective. Afforestation? Methane reduction? Electric vehicles? Improved energy efficiency in buildings and industry? Carbon pricing? More nuclear power? Technological breakthroughs?  What initiatives are needed to keep average global temperature from exceeding 2.0°C? Doug will demonstrate an interactive climate simulator which grew out of work at MIT Sloan.  Doug is a retired Vice President & General Counsel with Portland General Electric, Doug also volunteers with Citizens’ Climate Lobby, and is an En-ROADS Climate Ambassador.  Join us on Zoom.
