The UUCLC Delegates to the General Assembly requested input from the Membership about the issues upon which they will vote. Please access the Business Agenda for GA at: http://www.uua.org/ga/program/business-agenda
In addition, the Unitarian Universalist Association and the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee issued a joint Declaration of Conscience Statement following the November 2016 elections. Individuals and congregations may sign the declaration. Let’s begin a discussion about whether the UU Church of Las Cruces should sign as a congregation. The Declaration is available at: http://www.uua.org/loveresists/declaration-conscience.
Finally, the position of UUA Liaison is open. Given the amount of information coming from the UUA and the UUSC, it seems appropriate to reactivate this position. The individual who acts as Liaison tracks UUA actions and discussions, as well as requests for congregational input to the UUA, and shares this with the Board and the Membership.
A light meal will be provided and child care has been requested.
