We, the minister, staff and members of the Unitarian Universalist Church of Las Cruces offer condolences to survivors and loved ones of those killed in last Saturday’s mass shooting at the Walmart in El Paso and the Sunday mass shooting in Dayton, OH. We pray for the deceased and their families and for our nation as we struggle for answers to the epidemic of mass shootings.

We look to the day when we rise together in solidarity with one another. We remain hopeful that love will triumph over hate and violence.

Our doors remain open to all who seek community, justice, healing and love. You are welcomed here.

In fellowship,
Rev. Xolani Kacela, Ph.D.
