Thanksgiving Service

We’ll explore the meaning of Thanksgiving through the lenses of gratitude, generosity, and covenant. The sermon will arise from the history of Massasoit Sachem or Ousamequin (c. 1581 – 1661), who was the sachem or leader of the Wampanoag tribe.  Preaching duties will be shared by our minister and RE Director at both services.

This will be a multi-generational service and we encourage parents to bring their children & friends!
There will be a “bread communion” during the services. Please bring your favorite breads for the ritual.
This is also Caring Team Recognition Sunday. All members who participate in the pastoral care function of the congregation are invited for the ceremony.
Service Leaders: Rev. Xolani Kacela and Susan Freudenthal
