An Accounting of Soul for the New Year

Services at 9 AM and 10:30 AM. “Now is the time for turning,” says a reading for the Jewish Days of Awe, which began the evening of September 20.  As the leaves turn colors and the birds turn southward, we humans are invited to turn inward, to take an accounting of soul, to make a fresh start.  Our Jewish friends and neighbors will have recently concluded their observance of Rosh Hashanah and will be anticipating Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement.  Today’s service honors the spirit of these celebrations.
