Our minister, the Reverend Nancy J Anderson will be retiring soon. She will deliver her last sermon on June 20. During this period before her retirement, a special 3-member committee within the Board of Directors will be working to select and hire a credentialed Interim Minister.
There is a well documented and tested approach to calling an interim minister. The Transitional Ministry Handbook is an abridged version of a much larger handbook developed by the UUA to assist congregations to call Consulting, Interim or settled ministers. We have opted to call an interim for reasons described in this handbook.
