Cooperative Religious Education

Members of the church working together with our Director of Religious Education support our youth religious education program.

Youth religious education offers children and youth classes that vary from year to year. Age-appropriate classes may include subjects as varied as interpersonal relations, ethical questions, the Bible, world religions, nature and ecology, heroes and heroines of social reform, Unitarian Universalist history, and holy days around the world.

Our children take part in a worship program tailored to their ages and needs and they regularly take part in adult worship for about the first 15 minutes of the service. We teach children to be responsible for their own thinking while nurturing their impulses of reverence, morality, respect for others and themselves.
