Sandy BarMQ will be selling her beaded jewelry on Saturday, January 25, from 10 to 3 and Sunday, January 26, from 10 – 2. Sandy’s jewelry is fairly eclectic. She makes earrings, bracelets, necklaces, rings, napkin holders, drink marker rings, ornaments and more. She creates pieces that have themes of holidays, the Southwest, critters and just plain glitz.
The techniques she uses are bead weaving, strings, Kumihimo (a Japanese braiding technique). The materials she uses are semi-precious, stones, beads and copper or silver wire; or any interesting button or odd shape thing that she can incorporate into a piece of jewelry. She does special orders.
