Welcome

When you arrive at our church, you will be warmly welcomed by our Greeters as well as many members of the congregation. You’ll be guided to our Greeter’s Table and asked to sign the guest book and fill out a name tag (this is so we can talk to you during coffee time). During the service you’ll be given the opportunity to introduce yourself and whoever may be accompanying you to he service. Please join us for coffee and conversation after the service and if you have any questions, our Greeters will be happy to answer them.

Rejoice

You will notice that our services resemble those found in many other churches. We sing hymns and anthems, the choir may sing, he minister often has a special story for the children, or the children may have a story for us. We light a chalice as a symbol of our faith and we share Joys and Sorrows. You may find the minister in the pulpit or a lay presenter, either way, this is where our services differ from many other churches for we do not presume to have the ultimate answers to life’s great issues and mysteries. Sermon topics are wide ranging and may address religious, personal, social or ethical issues. Here, you will encounter a religion that finds truth in the teachings and writings of the world’s great religions and thinkers.

Come In

We are a “Welcoming Congregation.” This has special meaning and you can learn more about it by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page. We want you to know that we welcome you and your family and understand that families come in many different configurations – all are welcome and accepted.

Services in our church take place in a generally relaxed atmosphere. We don’t mind if you wear jeans and sandles, or perhaps shorts and a t-shirt in the summer. Some members “dress” for church in the manner they were raised; they may wear dressier clothes than what they wear every day. We only care that you’ve taken the time out of your busy schedule to come to church. We want you to leave feeling spiritually renewed and happy in the knowledge that you’ve found a loving, welcoming, and above all,
accepting church community.
