Roundtable Discussions

Roundtable discussions promote individual growth through group interaction. Everyone is free to join the discussion group and many members drop in when the topics are of interest to them. The Roundtable meets in the church’s library on Sundays at 10:30 AM, during the second church service.
Roundtable Discussion
While we may reach a consensus about an issue under discussion, the real purpose of the Roundtable is to provide everyone with the information they need to make up their own minds about an issue. Each discussion is lead by a member of the group or an outside speaker. A moderator makes sure that everyone who has something to say gets a chance to speak and no one person dominates the discussion.

Roundtables cover a broad range of topics, generally anything in which the group is interested. It may be a scientific principle or theory, a religious subject, or social, economic, or political issues. Sometimes other groups within or outside the church request time to make a presentation to the Roundtable. The month’s schedule of topics is published in the Light (the church newsletter), church bulletins, and on this web site so you can choose to attend the topics that are of interest to you.
