Wedding and Commitment Ceremonies

“What greater thing is there for two human souls than to feel that they are joined together—to strengthen each other in all labor, to minister to each other in all sorrow, to share with each other in all gladness, to be one with each other in the silent, unspoken memories?” – George Eliot

If you would like to have your wedding or commitment ceremony conducted at our church, please contact our minister at 575.522.7281 to arrange a consultation.

Unitarian Universalists recognize the sacredness and deep spiritual meaning of wedding and commitment ceremonies.  Our minister will work with you to incorporate the music, readings, and rituals that will make your ceremony special and meaningful.   Our tradition recognizes differing faith and cultural traditions and our minister is adept in blending them gracefully into a seamless ceremony.

Our curch grounds offer a lovely venue for an outdoor wedding, our sanctuary will hold roughly 90 people and includes a baby grand piano and a sound system with CD player.  Also on campus is a large entertainment room with a small attached kitchen and convenient restrooms.  Our office manager can discuss pricing, date scheduling, equipment and other needs you may have.
